Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Good! I'm looking forward to seeing them. I really like you approach of showing close up details rather than full body shots.

Now how can anyone, with any artistic acumen, get tired of a car show? I've attended many auto events in my time, and never grow weary of the genre, especially if they're held on grass on a nice cool day. Anyway, crisp and sharp foto of the whitewall tire and hubcap, M!

Bullet hub caps, wide white walls and wire wheels – who could ask for anything more. Great catch and share. Dana

Another of your self portrait series? Bored of looking at cars or their parts... I think not! Must be the fuel flowing through my veins.
