Description
This is the view from the summit of Falmouth's National Maritime Museum. I visit it a few times a year and always end up first in the depths to see what fish are around - always hoping that the glass twixt them and me isn't in need of the Autoglass service - then up top where the view of the harbour and beyond is just spectacular. Oddly enough, it's even better when the sea is rough, a gale is blowing and the skies are dark and foreboding!
I saw the two chaps on the largest and closest yacht go aboard, and then proceeded to wait a very long time for them to emerge from the cabin in the hope they wouldn't simply disembark. I struck lucky on this occasion and was able to snap 'em, just to give some perspective to the image.
An hour or so later, the Enterprise III, with me aboard, was wending a careful passage through the yachts seen here, into the less densely populated estuary, and onward to St. Mawes. Heaven!! ^=^
Thank you for taking the time to look. ^=^
