Description

Well I made it to chemo today....Just hope I don't get sick later on tonight...In my last post I had talked about quitting chemo if the bone scan came back abnormal next month...But when I went to my Dr for my med refills, I spoke to him about it..He made me go get hubby in the waiting room...and said my case was an oddity...I am not your usual breast cancer patient...mine spreads...every so often...he and a brilliant surgeon who has operated on me in the past have talked about it and the surgeon said in all his life he has never saw anyone with breast cancer quite like mine...They said by they are amazed I am still here, taking chemo when all the odds should of been against me years ago....He did say if my Oncologist wants to treat it different to try it,and if I get sick I can quit for a short period of time...when he said that I agreed...He also stated that he would hate for me to quit...and it show up in more places, and then there would be nothing they could do if I quit the chemo altogether........ When he increased my pain meds,it has really helped..tho I had to get used to the higher dose...Haven't had to go to ER or even thought about going to ER for over a month..I am sure they are wondering what has happened to me..But I am still alive and kicking...I have lost 2 more family members this month..another cousin who had a heart attack, and my Aunt who passed away with cancer...couldn't make it to her funeral as I had the strep throat..I have lost so many family members and friends in the past month...seems my family is dwindling down fast.. Everyone that walks on my street is oohing and aahing over my zinnia's..When I got out of the van that takes me to to the Cancer Center for treatment all the people, rather lady patients asked me if my zinnia's was real.....and I laughed and said they were my pride and joy...But I did like this image of the bee on the cosmo and thought I would post this first...It has a bright cheerful image & after an e mail from PJ I felt guilty when she said e mail her my photos if I didn't feel like posting...so this made me get off my behind and upload them...I have a few more to upload but not as many as I did last year... I go Sept 13th to see my family Dr for med refills and then go Sep 16 for the bone scan..and hate that as it is an all day process...the getting up is what gets me as I love to sit up late and read..and sometimes I do browse the gallery's and finding some really good artists an cool renders.....Quite the talented bunch we have here........I am so glad I found this place when I did...and you all are all like family to me... Thank you for all of your love and support As usual all post work done in PSP9...Did one step fix photo..Brightened the image..and did 2 different color borders to contrast with the pic And as always thank all of you all for the comments..and for those of you who favorite the image.....It is much appreciated....Will try to upload some more here in the next week or so... I hope this finds all of you having a good afternoon...and pleasant night... Hugs n love Susan aka Blush~

only today have I become aware of your situation health wise, I applaud you for not curling up in the fetal position and for continuing to breathe, I can not imagine how you feel nor will I try to. I am sorry for your loss and have been through a similar time recently with the passing of my sister... this be the circle of life. Only yesterday, on the other side of the world I too was photographing a bee on a poppy that I had just grown, a spectacular deep yellow one. Each day I walk around my garden and breathe it in, it sounds like you have the same affinity with your patch of dirt. Thank you for sharing this vibrant and beautiful image with us and for telling us of your lot. smell the flowers and feel the sun cheers Carl

I love how this bee makes the center for the Cosmos it looks so lovely. A beautiful capture. I'm really glad that your Dr has talked you into having more treatment as you never know if a cure is around the corner and you have done so well it would be a shame to give up now. My thoughts are with you and I am looking forward to seeing more flowers from you.

your flower and bee are beautiful. with all my might I wish you a complete recovery.I use to know a lady that had been fighting cancer for more than 10 years. she had the drive and will to see her children grown and the last time I seen her they had told her she was in complete remission

Had to laugh when I saw this one. Reminded me of a story my first wife told me about when she was a little girl about 3 years old. She had very poor vision and her world was extremely out of focus. She saw this pretty flower with a black and yellow center and sniffed it. Was a small bumblebee and it stung her on the end of her nose! A couple of years later, she got glasses and her entire world changed. At least, she didn't try to smell any more bees. Hang in there, my friend!

hi susan, ute and me we where talking about you last night when we wnet out with the doggydughter. she told me the story that she knws you already for ages and ...and... made me feel good to hear that ,and the only humble thing i can do for you is giving you a big cyber-hug,and shout out hang on baby-you are doing a great battle. me having been born with asthma and having only 305 breathing capacity (me ass smokes as well) was always physically weak and felt weak against better build people until i found out a lot of things during my span on this planet. and i know if nothing worse than the asthma hits me i was a lucky fellow. we keep you in our thoughts.
