My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

This is wonderful. Soft and abstract, it's as if you are seeing it from under the water. Very nice.

Incredibly evocative! I LOVE it! To me it also recalls lying on my back looking up through the trees on a hot day.

I love your "rescue" work on this; modern impressionism at its best!

Very impressionistic work on this, Tara! Isn't it great playing with digital art/photography? The only limits to what you can do with it are your imagination and the amount of RAM you have available! LOL! This is really cool!

WOW! It's the Vltava as it meanders through some little pipsqueak of a town like Český Krumlov! (The smallest towns have the biggest, non-castle-looking castles, over there.) I love the dapples of color, light, and shadow...the impression of rocks and movement. I really like this arty stuff: it allows so much freedom of interpretation and evokes days gone by...quite a few days spent with Pavl, looking at ducks, skipping rocks (in an attempt to skip them all the way across the river to the opposite bank) or avoiding treacherous, algae-slimed rocks as we picked our way across the unexpectedly shallow width of the river (not in Prague though, the Vltava's deep by the time it reaches Prague...and there's grotty city-stuff in it too. Seepage from sunken Soviet tanks, as Pavl explained, though I'm not really sure that there are many Soviet tanks left IN the river now.) WOW!!! I really love this, especially since it got me to rambling on and on about a river way over on the other side of the planet, and a skinny, dark-haired dude who might or might not play spoons in a Central European punk rock band. Hmmm...my mind's all over the place tonight! What an image though, to bring all of that bubbling up and out of me. I love it!

A feeling of movement, well captured. Clive
