Description

An absolute Must Zoom In... Well had a great time with this today and for those who have been following this work along.. I hope you like the finished work.. well finished minus small area touch-ups for the printing of this 17x40". Too bad the people at the show will have no idea how or what effort it takes to do something like this.. their loss.. but if just one person is intrigued enough to ask question to really get an understanding then it will have been worth it. If anyone was any questions on this effort please feel free to write me directly using my email address where I can then discuss freely and maybe attach screen shows to help me discuss. This was all done on a MacMini and an old Apple 23" cinema screen... my eyes need all the help they can get. I used Modo, Poser, ZBrush, Vue, and Photoshop. Vue is my working canvas that all else support. Again I want to thank Alex of Adh3d on his outstanding Chariot product what inspired me on this work. As I mentioned before he will be working on the Roman 4 horse version in the near future. I will certainly be using it in connection with my full BenHur Arena Models... imagine this as it turns the end of the Island just under the huge Arena Statue.. ops I think I wet myself. Cheers Don "London224"

Experienced or not with Poser and 3D there cannot be any one so ignorant as to not see the talent and hard work that went into this magnificent scene. It's absolutely spectacular! I would love to see it in giclee. Good luck at the show.

This is positively a visually stunning piece and I truly am taken back to the chariot race in Ben Hur when I see it. Again, the time and effort you clearly put into this piece is evident and really shows off well. I would, unfortunately, have to agree that the rain is a bit distracting in this version in comparison to the previous two. The wet effects however - the water on the ground, mud spatter and splashes are superb. I will address my questions to you on this piece in a private site mail. I don't want anyone thinking I'm too insane. grin Truly, this is a magnificent piece and that you managed to put so much detail in really, really amazes me. Spectacular work!

It causes me to stagger just looking at it, and I'm sitting down. I have a headache just visualizing all you went through to complete this, all the layers and many renders - I need a nap just thinking about it - and yet - you did it, I'm exhausted - you're a genius and an amazing artist with infinite patience and this masterpiece says all of that and more!!! Bravo!!!

What an outstanding work this is. Did you layer this in as I can imagine the time it would take to render it ?? Even layered, this must have taken some time to make all of the picture as total and complete as it is. There is so much to take in I could look at this for hours. All of the people and the superb action quality of it. I can actually picture it in motion in my head. The piosing of the people, horses and especially that dog with his tongue out is magnificent. I am happily surprised at one of my new favorite artists. I don't favorite many people (and very few individual pieces for that matter) but this is some striking work in your gallery. You have an extraordinary imagination my friend. I shall look into your works more deeply when I have the time, later today..... gene
