This one is a bit different for me, especially since I have quite a fear of spiders, I was actually taking some photos of some wild flowers and was down pretty close to some when I noticed this guy not to far away, my first thought was get the heck away then at second glance I thought I can do this... so with slight trembling hands and a silly fear that it would jump off that web and onto me, I steadied my little Kodak point and shoot that I take on bike rides.. and got as close as I could dare myself... and after a few shots took in the beauty of the spider and a bit of my fear went away.. Markus, I thought of you when I was taking this shot, and all the awesome photos of spiders and other little creatures you have brought to us in your wonderful gallery, I hope you will enjoy it.. I hope you will take a minute to check out some of the collection PRAEP has done recently on spiders.
