Description

(Bug Comic)(This is probably the least sexy picture of a naked guy on Renderosity ;) This follows "A Helping Pitchfork" Rain, Randy and Leaf haven't gone far--Rain can't stand to be dirty, even if it means being too close for Leaf's peace of mind to the dead bugs in the swamp. Randy has pulled the ravelly sleeves of his shirt to make a quick washcloth for Rain. Though Randy has rinsed off Rain's cutoffs (using the pitchfork to start with) he doesn't think they are ever going to be "clean". Rain thinks the cutoffs are perfectly good..if they were boiled. Randy says:"Mom's not going to let you put these in *any* of her pots." He considers flipping them up into the trees to get rid of them and do everyone a favor, but instead he hands them back to Rain. Rain, who was expecting some prank from Randy, now worries that Randy is afraid of him (a year ago the pants would have been in the trees right away). But in fact, Randy is thinking he's going to miss Rain if he goes away to school. A thought occurs to Randy, and because it is a short distance between Randy's brain and his mouth, he says: "Hey, if you go to school, I can't go to the Bingo Parlor*!" Rain pulls on his wet clothes and says: "You can go to the Bingo Parlor, you just can't take the girls to Jay N Bee's." Randy protests that he was "just talking" to one of the girls in the bar (which is how most of the trouble in Randy's life starts), and Rain nods his head at Leaf, who shouldn't be any part of a conversation about either the Bingo Parlor or Jay N Bee's Bar. Leaf is occupied, though, watching the buzzards come and try to eat the bugs. The birds will land, try to grab a bite, and then lift off again because the bugs are too hot. ------------------ Rain's boots and the Longbow are from ElorOnce Dark on Daz, and I can't praise him high enough for his products. Leaf's texture is Nico, also from Daz. Randy's hair is the Wild Mane hair. * Here I have to say that "The Bingo Parlor", is no such thing, it's a legal, licensed bordello, that was a bingo parlor back in the 21st century (only the sign survived the original building). And yes, you'll get to see the inside of The Bingo Parlor and some of the girls. (Rain loses an alligator clip in Daisy Delight's cleavage).

XD I wouldn't say that it's UN-sexy...subtle maybe? (Pffft, people can find something sexy about a soap dish :) Great job with the environment, characters, and posing. ^-^

You're so brilliant in the way you paint/compose/matte paint (not sure what it is you do lol ) the landscape. The water looks especially good. Great scene. Now, for the story telling... I get confused, never know who is who and how they're related to each other and how they fit in the story. You need to put this graphic novel in order or in your next picture, at least describe each character with a head shot and a name lol I think Brian and Elliot are the same guy and I don't know if they're related to these three here or know them. I'm either lost or stupid... or both lol Or I should re-read the whole thing in order again hehe Oh and I think the water must have been really cold lol And I really like Leaf's hair :)

This looks like a painting and FANTASTIC. You covered his bits up perfectly BUT I do not mind seeing a naked Guy in Renders, we do see lots of boobs here and down below Woman bits, so why people get offended when there is a willy I never know. Long as it says Nudity people can decided if they look or not. Your Style is AWESOME.

Oh Gods of a Poxed Doxie...bingo and liquor do not mix. Mind you, having been dragged to bingo by my Ex, I think bingo does not mix with anything lol. As usual awesome image, I really love the way you flawelessly integrate all the poser parts with your painting. P.S. If my clothes were covered in used burnt bug spoo, I'd be sorely tempted to burn em on the spot.

A really wonderfully done scene...as louly says...painted, composed, matted, or whatever...its great, as usual. I would not have suspected Rain to be the fussy type about cleanliness! I love the way you turn something as mundane as washing off in a stream into an interesting story!

Nice, nice as always... And i'm really gladdened, that you are continuing the 'Bug Hunt'. But why should this 'be probably the least sexy picture of a naked guy on Renderosity'? Man are starting naked into the world and do leave it in the same way - or have you ever heard of a birth in an jumpsuit? We can only nod our heads about some pseudo-religious chadbands, everytime griping about a bit of nudity. Btw - there has been at pheonix tv ( a german channel) a documentation about ancient roman empire and the role of delight in it - very different to the repressed behaviour of actual religions.

Yucko! I believe I would have just sat down in the clean water with the clothes on. Either that or walk out nekkid. I'm glad to see it hasn't misplaced a hair on his perfect hairdo! Really outstanding work on the surroundings. Especially the water!!

First let me say you have the most detailed stories to provide info about your artwork. Second, let me say that I always enjoy all the details you put into your art. And third, let me say that I like your style - it really is soft and different - like a watercolor painting. Just very nice work.

i strongly agree with Randy. i don't think throwing his pants away would be a prank, but a mercy on everyone else. ick! i like how you posed and grouped the figures. the pool of water is great. the overall scene is peaceful and lovely. you'd never think there were giant, smoldering bug carcasses a short distance away.
