Description

These days we have been beaten by a number of storms and heavy rains, followed the the usual, stuffy arguments in the local papers about who is to blame for the deplorabe state of the city's sewage system, minor flooding of streets and the like. All this to say that summer holidays are over and business as usual started again. During a break in the rain, when some sunny sky was gracing us, I took the chance of looking at the flowers in the tiny kitchen balcony of my apartment. Here you can see a reflection of the sky and the high rise building across the street on the wet railing, and some glimpses of Flavia's love and pride, her balcony garden (I'm a lost cause as to that). Thanks for your kind comments.

Did you ever notice that nature is something of a one-off artist? A thousand variants and none identical. Little yhings like this reflection in a small puddle are more interesting than any gallery print will ever be.

Beautiful and intriguing image! Wonderful composition and textures! Lovely smooth reflection with a drop ready to fall. Like the rest of the image, it sings of contradictions and altered states. I love the reflections in the large drop. There are numerous squares. I'm not sure what they are reflections of, which add to the sense of mystery. Excellent colors and curves on the brown branches and nice reflections of the twining vine. Superb shot!
