Description

Well here's my finished work complete with bubbles in the glass.. I don't know the function editor yet but was able to use stars in the spots folder to create the bubbles in the glass, modeled the window pins.. and even went in and slightly rotated individual glass panes... should have rotated more I think.. and need to learn the function editor a bit more to create a wave in the glass mat... well next time. It may be a while before I post again.. I am redesigning my website, and I must finally get my hard disk under control. I sometimes think I spent have my time just trying to find things. My next image should be the Interior of the U.S.S. Alligator complete with sailors working the propeller crank. For those who have seen the image of the interior... the trick here is to export the crank and seats back into Poser from Modo so I can really pose the figure correctly with their hands placed right. Having done this import back into Vue.

Impressive bit of work here. Love the glass but I agree that it would be better with some "flow" and "waves" to it. Exceptional lighting and texturing.

I know that you will be your own hardest critic so what I say will not diminish or dent what you have done. The work is very well done for light and shadow and the color depth of the shadow is spot on. Perhaps a tad more edge bluring on the shadowing. I say this because the light appears blue and diffuse and I would say that would mean clouds and therefore not crisp shadows. You put amazing effort into the glass and only some imperfections in the surface would have made for more realism. Such quibles I would never mention to a lesser artist. In total, I think you well accomplish your goal of creating a Renaissance type work.

A wonderful idea, beautifully executed. Reminds me of an old painting.
