this series never ceases to amaze me. When this went up originally, I thought: How wonderful it would be to see this wall-size, ie something that would command a whole room. It has such simplicity, upfront---your bold blues, your bright yellow-greenss, etc. It's divided into segments with bold thick borders---a little like stained glass---yet it also flows all over the place. And your dissolved areas---like the light dots along your borderlines---are more of your creative energy added to the whole. Wonderful splotches of bright color throughout (that crimson red on the left, or the peach-flesh areas in the center), showing that you understand how a single color can be a statement. You use color like sentences, or paragraphs: They're whole & complete units of meaning, or whole characters in a story. And this has the spontaneous line & energy that you so often create, more jazz put into visual form. A vital, wholly refreshing and beautiful panel. It would make a great stained glass window.
