your "ps" series goes through such beautiful transformations. This has the luminosity of stained glass, the fluidity of acrylic and even a little watercolor or gouache, and the metallic glow of metal enamel (or some sort of metal-based art). And it has bold sweeping strokes, wonderful color morphs---the way your colored segments morph at the edges and fade into the areas around them, like watercolor would. There's a definite composition here, a kind of arch over a central bulge at the bottom---like an imaginary sky over a hill or over a setting sun. But your colors here undulate and shimmer and recede and even boil...and it has the freedom of a child's painting and the jazzy and vivid sense of an experienced artist's vision. The colors are beautiful by themsleves, and the 'vision'--while abstract--feels very much like an interpretation of nature, even of a sunset. More exceptional & wholly easeful art from you, Emilio.
