Description
Absolutely electrifying.
And good to be back doing a collage.
Captured 5/10/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.
Don't bother zooming, it comes out the same size.
Thought I would show some of the towers/pylons up close that have been playing havoc with my Civil War and nature photos. Picture #2 shows the same lines and towers from photo #1 end on.
Denise, with her penchant for angles, lines and repetition, has been ailing of late, so hope this gives her a much needed lift through her illness.
Toodles, thankx for popping in, and for any and all complimentary comments and favs.

These are cool, at least when they are not fouling up Civil War shots. Wonderful lines! I love the bottom one with the towers seen through the nearest one. Great shots! Lovely dedication. I hope Denise feels better soon.

Oh wow...super shots Harry. I do hope Denise is doing better this evening and your dedi brings a smile to her face. Have a fine night folks. :-)

What a wonderful collage to have dedicated to me! I always love the lines and angles of these towers; I know they're a blight on the landscape and that the high-voltage lines supposedly wreak all kinds of havoc in humans who are forced to live too close to them, but what a glorious riot of geometry! I could spend days getting different angles and POV, in all kinds of weather and lighting, and have series after series of the results... Thank you for thinking of me, Harry; I keep thinking I might be getting better (hoping!). Seems like the older I get the harder these little viruses hit me. Good thing I don't get them very often!

Thanks for the close up Harry...I did see these behemoths lurking in a couple of your recent posts. These are the sort of things we can't live with but can't live without either.

The bane of a photographer's life! You show them loud and proud and actually, they look quite cool against that sky.. Good idea mate! Rob

Since they keep interfering of COURSE they should be the center of attention. lol. Nice idea.

The side POV is an excellent shot and a wonderful collage Harry. Think how much time that we all spend moving around to get a shot without power lines and her you are showing them off. Well done my friend. Dana
