Description

One of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III engines with its cowling retracted on the flight line at Ysterplaat. The thrust reverser directs the flow of air upward and forward to avoid ingestion of dust and debris. I know that some of you will enjoy! Clive Just noticed - submission number 1111 for a Globemaster 111 ...!

Agreed; makes the airplane "stand on its nose wheel" too when you crank on reverse thrust (GRIN)
