Description

Confederate soldiers returning fire upon the Union troops shown in yesterday's posting. Captured 7/31/10, at the American Civil War Reenactment, held at the vast and beautiful El Dorado Park in beautiful Long Beach, California. Because the subject matter was so far off, this is much better viewed full size. Admittedly, not the most advantageous fotos I took of the confrontation, but the pictures do get better as the battle series continues and the warring sides close the gap between each other. Brilliant sequence...makes you think, if there were a few thousand going at it, you could hide all sorts of movement in the smoke.

Very nice shots harry...love the smoke and wow I bet there was some noise here. My dad and uncles always have used Black Powder rifles and such...they are totally cool.
