Description

The corporate controlled world of Dagda is, ironically, one of the most bountiful worlds in the galaxy in terms of life. Nearly every inch of its surface, from pole-to-pole, is covered with algae. The algae grows on everything, buildings included if it sits still long enough. The benefit is that not only is the world oxygen-rich, but it can withstand a tremendous amount of air pollution. The algae of Dagda are so pervasive that they work as a super-efficient filtering system, meaning factories can churn out smog and pollution with little effect on air quality. The downside is that for about a quarter of the year, the air is filled with floating algae blooms that cover most of the planet. Everyone who goes to Dagda must be tested for allergic reactions to the algae. Those who are allergic must steer clear, or they could suffer potentially lethal allergic reactions. All processed goods from Dagda are shipped first to a major space station, where they are sterilized of all algae before shipping. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

Good good good!! Excellent atmosphere, point of view, scale, detail---what's to not like here? Makes the nose tickle and the eyes itch and I gotta wonder what the place smells like (probably not roses). Nice shaders, too!

Woah, woah, and more woah. You can't just write up a blurb about a scene such as this one and not even mention how it was done? Now start again from the beginning. Very nicely done, by the way. Top notch.
