Hi friends, another "Festifal of Lights" pic, once again one from the season 2010 The pic shows the Berlin Dome, one of the most important protestantic churches in Germany. It was built in 1894 - 2005 in neobarock style after with strong italian influences in order of the german emperor Wilhelm II., the last emperor of Germany. Wilhelm II. was, as all his ancestors, the Kings of Preussen and the emperors before him, member of the house Hohenzollern. In the crypt of this dome is the family grave of most of all famous Hohenzollern members situated. The Dome is one of the highlights of the Festival of Lights for many years and has shown many famous projections over the years. The 2010 projections are 20 different themes from star fashion designer WOLFGANG JOOP and his recent collection "Wunderkind" (wonder child). Joop was born in Potsdam near Berlin in the DDR, started his fashion business in West-Berlin and earned his property in New York. After the fall of the wall Joop came back to Berlin and estabished his activities here. He lives again in Potsdam in the palace of his parents. Hope you like this pic. Comments are welcome, as ever.
