I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

Nicely put together. The work that went into the outfit shows. Well done.

Cool!

Dang, Michael - you're a true artist on many levels! Excellent work on all the elements of that outfit! Excellent! We didn't have many little Halloweenies here, either. We didn't even get candy to hand out this year, we get so few. I think people are just too leary of letting thier kids do much trick-or-treating any more - with all the sickos out there...

Gee! I can't imagine why nobody came! heh! We only had six this year (last year about 50). I think RodS above is right. Most around here, are going to parties sponsored by churches, social organizations, the city recreation people, etc. May try next year, but if no more than that come, I doubt we will continue the tradition. Makes me sad, though. The children aren't likely to be hurt if they are accompanied by the parents.

Wonderful make-up! ;)

Yeah, if you sat out on the porch across from the cemetery looking like that, the little children and their parents might decide to go the other way. Light turnout here too, even though the rain held off. Now we have too much candy...

Now I lay me down to sleep - A BAG o' GOODIES at my feet - If I should DIE before I WAKE - You'll know it's cuz' of a TUMMY ACHE. WINK.

You don't fool me - I know that mask was fashioned on your own face... We had the opposite problem - so many T or T'ers that we very nearly ran out of goodies.

I love that outfit! One of these days, I wanna actually work on a photo project involving you and others dressed in ethnic gear like that! Ya see, my writer's brain has latched onto the idea of doing one of those "anthropological studies" of a rare tribe found on some remote Nemaean planet. I love the details in this. It's fantastic work, both as a hand-made costume and a great photograph with loads of drama in it.
