Dawn, Lake Michigan 6 blocks from my home. (Much better Full-Size!) * * * I'm a quarter the way through your galleries: I'll get to all of you this week, I promise! Thank you all for so much support- you don't know how much it means to me! A fine day to all! Mark (That big black band is a pier.)

Mark this is such a fantastic shoot. Such beautiful reflections and such knife sharp clarity and I luuv the sunbursts and the crispy waves gliding over the wet and shiny sand. Absolutely wonderful artwork.

Spectacular. Appears icy cold (must be the black band), glistening,...rayed by the early morning sun. And your POV...wow... Did you get your knee wet? :) A very dramatic portrait of your 'ocean', alive with movement and rapidly changing light. I'll bet five minutes later this view would have changed. This is an exciting image that allows me to stand or kneel in the same place you did on your early morning walk the other day. Fun.

Damn, Bill has already taken the first word I thought of.... spectacular! Beautiful lighting, and I love the contrast between the formless water and sky, and the sharp black pier.

This is such an epic view Mark, and you really did capture it so well here. If you focus on it you can almost feel God's power radiating downward. Honestly there can't be a more beautiful and inspiring way to start my day than with this one Mark. My oldest sister just returned from Chicago and she is still going on about the lovely sites like this one she saw there.

I feel like I'm standing right there! The colors, the light, everything is so immediate. It's always a challenge to get a photograph to look JUST the way you saw it when you clicked the shutter (something I know although rarely attempt!) but your postwork choices are superb, and you've brought out those morning "dark pastels" beautifully. Gorgeous result!

Wow, this looks very much like the scene I saw last night at sunset; even the colors are almost the same!! Your dawn shots just blow me outta the water (hmm, is there a pun there or something???)!! The light is magic and this one really grabbed me---GREAT shot!!!
