Description

This is my first attempt to model a tyre, based on a tutorial I have seen on You Tube, this doesn't use bump or displacment mapping but is modelled complete in Polygons. Looking for a little feedback please...I know the side wall to tread is a little sharp but I think I can fix that in my next test, I think side wall lettering would also make a big difference, your comments would be very useful in case I am missing something really silly. Tyre is supposed to be a Pirelli P Zero, Modelled in Maya, Rendered in Maya with metal Ray...Thx

Stunning work. I like the tread pattern a lot. The chrome is spot on. One thing though, it is only being picky but i would like a more softer or rounded edge to the tyre, looks a little square. Buy hey i don't model so fair play to you, great work. I would like to see the final product as well
