My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wonderful capture, beautiful array of textures and a shame that these fine pieces have been let go. Dana

Reminds me of some of Jan Groover's work, the reflective surfaces and close cropping. Lovely.

The light is catching these pieces beautifully, well spotted and captured. I'm glad you got home safely from your long trip.

Love this image. The good news is that a wee bit of tender loving care and silver polish will bring all these pieces right back to a new appearance...I know...I've done it before:)

What really works about this is that you've captured the essential element of silver...the, shall-we-say, argentine quality of it. I love the various colors and textures and quite possibly, the various grades of it. Every element of this piece of work is perfectly seen and perfectly presented. I love this. Oh yeah, and just so you'll know, the Fred and Ginger building actually still has that name, as well as a fancy-schmancy French restaurant under that bramble-shaped bird's nest on top...it's way expensive. Anyway, this is a fantastic piece of work.

Really wonderful exploration of light, form and texture - all in one piece of art! Superb photo, Tara! Sounds like you had a great trip - glad you two are safe and sound at home! I'll bet that's one spectacular drive - even through Kansas! LOL! Hope to have the time to make that drive someday.

Very nice capture. I really like the subtle color range and the textures. You know what Dorothy says (Hint: There's no place like home). Glad to hear you had a fun and safe trip.

Oh, lovely! Tarnish is wonderful, and you're right, each piece shows it differently. Fantastic compo and light!
