I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/ÂÂ

So good, if you want an observation from me, i shall tell you to romember the pieces destroyed flying close to the impact of the lasers, or even the enlightened metal burned from heat, also that a close planet makesthe perfect atmosphere :D

Great scene! Three against one hardly seems sporting, though.

Amazing battle in space !!!

Someone's shields don't appear to be working... I don't think this will end well for the ship in the middle unless he engages warp drive and gets the heck outta there! Fantastic work as always - your space scenes and ship absolutely rock!

Super! What I like about this is the way in which you've turned Space Opera into something really fresh and realistic. Those old Guardians are quite interesting vessels...and it doesn't matter who or what built them, they're intriguing and so that throws all sorts of potential into the storyline. I love the fact that they're brown, worse for wear, and completely NOT Made in the USA, Russia, or China...these dudes and dudettes, whatever they might be, ain't local...and that's what I like about this. The ship under attack looks like it's up a fecal waterway without a locomotion device, but based on what I can see, the battle can still turn, provided the ones being shot keep in mind that they're in space and in a frictionless environment...if they race at their attackers, any debris that they lose will ALSO race at their attackers if their attackers are stupid enough to shoot...they'd be forced to shoot and evade...so yeah, maybe you can beam that thought directly into the outmatched Captain's mind and make him/her just desperate enough to kinda scare the bejeezus out of the attacker, provided they have any bejeezuses to be scared out of them. In short, I love this scene and I'm glad I finally got a chance to comment on it. Great work. Marvelous work! I like it.
