Description

"Captain, I know I said we should have armed the last ship, but isn't this a bit much?" ------------- I decided this model deserved a bit of its own showcasing, and couldn't resist the temptation to tinker with it a bit more... Same as it ever was: Modeled and rendered in Bryce 6 by me, textures are modified presets, planet and background are all Photoshop, as is compositing and post work. Thanks for taking a look everyone!

When I saw the title, I expected to see... bigger guns. But this is great! I really like the detail on the surface features and that texture is awesome.

Peace - through superior firepower! Outstanding spaceship! You're definitely 'da man' when it comes to these ships and space scenes!

Your ships always have this industrial look to them: as if they were built on an assembly line (in orbit) by people who get paid good wages...and then, decades and decades later, they're still in use, because they were just so well built! I love that element of your work. I tend to like realism in SF no matter how "out there" the actual SF universe might be. I love your oxidation hues, your textures, your in-universe logic based on real physics...and most of all, your overall style just rocks. This is stuff that needs to grace book covers and such. THIS is stuff I'd love to see in books similar to those Terran Trade Authority Handbooks. I'm not sure if you've seen them or not, but your work has the same vibe...not derivative in any way, but with an "OH WOW" factor in common. People look at your stuff and marvel. I certainly do. This is great!

A great looking spaceship once again, Mike.I am amazed that you can model and texture these ships within Bryce itself.
