My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

At the beach..that's a relief! At first glance I though we were seeing a 'challenging' salad. It is a fascinating photo, which makes me switch from food mode to stilllife mode and back repeatedly. I feel as though I want to leave the bits that are a little too chewy to one side! That probably includes the crab.

Could be a salad.... Glad you mentioned the beach! Clive

A really beautiful and colorful capture. I think that crab has seen better days though :-D

For a moment, Tara, I thought he was part of a salad, and destined for a short life! :-D Lovely colors and textures here! Most excellent!

It does look like its sitting on a bed of stirred fried vegetables. Interesting image, lots going on here.

Hmmm...looks like Klingon food. GaH is best when served alive, you know. I love the details in this and the shape of that crab shell. I looked at the thumbnail and thought it was a horseshoe crab. I like those because aside from the trilobite-ish shape, their undersides look like the undersides of woodlice and aquatic isopods, only their private parts are a slightly different shape. I also love the colors in this, the textures and the way smooth and complicated all intermingle with little disturbing friction. This really rocks!
