All these travel pictures remind me of a song I wrote about something that happened a long time ago.

Forse la foto rappresenta veramente la canzone! Sembra non ci sia molto di buono lungo il cammino e le previsioni siano cupe ! Bella atmosfera ! Perhaps the picture is really the song! There seems to be very good along the way and the predictions are grim! Beautiful atmosphere!

the road is always is always a fascinating concept, whats around the bend, what am i going to find, the journey is always more exciting than the arrival, all these questions brought about by "the road", this is a great illustration of all this.

The heavily overcast day, long straight road, and low light are a perfect accompaniment for the song. It is a long empty road, and the song speaks of a long empty future. That's the way it feels when love dies and it seems like the heart will never be well again. Your words and image capture that beautifully.
