Description
After spending all day working in Malmö yesterday, I retuned to Lund at 20:00/8:00 PM. I saw the Christmas lights the town had just strung up in the bare branches of the trees outside the local movie theatre and on the facade of the local market building. So I decided to take a photo of them.
Surprise! A lot of strange white spots on the photo! I later realized these were caused by tiny ice crystals blowing in the wind, so small that I couldn't feel them against my face.
Enjoy!

Thought from your thumbnail...ah, a comet. This is much more down to earth. Neat shot my friend.

Gives a real festive feel mate! Good shot, I'd try for our town lights, but you'd laugh!!!! Keep it up Rob

They look much nicer than our town lights! Wonderful how the ice has caught the light - looks like it's snowing!

Could be a weather warning!, time to break out the thermals.I like the way your flash has lit up the rims on the bicycle wheels.

That is a really super shot! Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when we had 'freezing fog' and the sun was trying to poke through when I opened the front door. The sunlight was catching the frozen fog so they were tiny ice crystals like this but in the sun and a slight breeze it just looked like fairy glitter swooshing around
