Yeah, it's hard to keep a good tree down...I love the way a damaged tree just keeps on growing, just as long as its still alive. It's quite a lesson on life itself: life goes on, it improvises, and if necessary, looks rather funny while going on and improvising. Plants and "lower animals" always show just how important it is to simply move on and move forward, move upward, or just keep moving...well...trees don't move in the traditional sense, but they just do what they do, so what if they get cut down! I love this shot because of that and because it just looks so darn good! This is more excellent and provocative work. That's always a wonderful thing.
