Description

No story .. but it did remind of a book of the same name I read years ago, "Ringworld" by Larry Niven. I only read the first book, I think there were two more Ringworld novels, but I never did get around to reading them. This is Bunny Clarke's Neon Worlds script, endlessly tweaked. I did add a start field background, and two small fractals. Many thanks for all the marvelous comments on the previous post .. each is like a little jewel to read! Thank you for the many faves. Hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a wonderful day, and hope everyone else had a wonderful day, too. Still catching up!!

Rita this is really superb! I remember the novel, and I didn't read the others either. Wonder if they were a bit too dry? It wasn't like Asimov's Foundation trilogy. That was great. When I was in high school I wanted to be a sci-fi writer, and corresponded eith Asimov. Great guy, it was about his book,"I Robot". Boy those were the good-old days. Your incredibly cool image got me to start remembering those halcyon days. As always your wonderful work touches a part of us. In that sense you transcend the realm of the fractal and entire the realm of the visionary. Excellence all around!!!!!

Wow...just seeing the title was a flashback for me! Love this image and really loved those books too. Now I'm going to have to go see if I can actually find my copies of the books to read again! :-) After, of course, I finish the one I just started last night grin

Wow...yes, back to fractals. You did a magnificent job of creating a stellar system. That's a fractal that is fully convincing as a 3D model. It doesn't take any imagination to see it as a great system of ships...the ringworld. You only need your imagination to envision the creatures that live there, and what it might be like inside those structures. Wonderful sci-fi work. Hugs and a high-five. Only 8 days to go!
