When Jeff was a little boy, he used to ask me every payday for another 'HOT WHEELS' to add to his collection ... toys for boys !
That was then and this is now ... many, many Moons later and he discovered his favourite of all times 'HOT WHEELS car' at the Winter-sun Festival in Coolangatta, Queensland ... that's him admiring the rear view and with 'ZZ-TOP' there scouting for a new "Eliminator" !

Way kool Mum, two of my favorite things, an un-real ride (which I never thought was an actual car !) and ZZ Top (who are in Texas and this photo was taken in OZ ?) but I works for me ! Great capture of a fun day ! ~Cheers~ *<:o) (that smiley, is me wearing my party hat...LOL !)

OK, I had to look this up as I'm not too familiar with Hot Wheels. They were introduced in September of 1968 and were/are 1/64 scale models of real cars. Judging from this photo, they automatically scale up with one's age. LOL Nice shot and treatment BB! Happy Birthday Jeff!!!

Very cool car! Takes me back, before the environment was invented, to the days of ridiculously muscular cars. Looks a bit like the Beatnik Bandit designed by Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth in 1961. I hope Jeff had a blast on his birthday.
