"Painters palette"
I say that for this image has much more of the horizon looking towards the Colorado Plateau to the North. As well the greens in the BG are not in the shadows created by the passing clouds and the colors in the sandstone seem to stand out better with the green all about. How I love this wilderness, starting this series again will motivate myself to post more often! Hope you enjoy this area as much as I do. Just to take a long look at this landscape and it makes you feel so small and insignificant - and on the other hand it's the vastness of this area, that also gives you the feel of reaching out to total completeness, what a joy it must be to experience this amazing wilderness, sublime view, BB

I love these shots so much that it's hard to leave your gallery. If I don't get back to the kittens...they are adorable. I hope you found them good homes and Mom is well. I like this one a little better than the last, though they are both fabulous. The colors (beautiful on both) just blow me away here. Wonderful warm colors of the sand and structures against the cool blues and greens of the plants and sky. Lovely bluing effect made by the view into the distance. Gorgeous detail. Absolutely beautiful capture!
