Description

"This is the one I want, but does it come in candy apple red?" Hello everyone and thanks for looking... In the not too distant future, if you really want to impress that lady of yours, I guess you'll have to get her the Lexus of spaceships! I've been playing around with Hexagon 2.5 over the weekend and put together this spaceship model. Still mostly trying to get the hang of this modeling thing. Also, if anyone's interested, I posted a .obj file of the spaceship model to the ShareCG site. The link to the freebie is: Spaceship model I'm having some issues with my copy of Hex, it won't let me create a UV map texture. If anyone has any tips on creating textures, or can point me to any decent tutorials, please let me know. Also, my son Chris has created his own Rendo account and is posting some of his really excellent Photoshop artwork. I know I might be a little bit biased, but I think his art is definitely worth a look. What do you think?

I'd love to try ZBrush but don't have an extra 700 bucks lying around for it... lol. Nice flowing lines to the ship, Tom, and a novel way to display it by putting it into a virtual showroom. It would appear they might want to know if those seats in it convert to a bed though... ;)

i go and hopp over to chris gallery . i have hexagon from a bundle i bought at daz and i never worked with it i mean i opened it and closed immediately i guess i was afraid of it .in have also carrara but then i have only time for daz and bryce ,well see min the future.

Your model is looking sharp - looks great the way it is, HOWERVER, I have a suggestion for another add on... The first model you have could be like a shuttle craft, looks "airborn"... would like to suggest you add the nose of you avatar onto it, move the tail to the center to give it that dorsil fin effect and have it your "seaborn" model... would like to see you texture it and put a decal on the side, maybe the name on the side could be Seaborn???
