My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Wonderful! it would make a great abstract painting!

There should be lots to photograph in there. Check behind the bathroom sink on the floor between the studs. Many had a slot in the vanity to drop used razor blades inside the wall.

Great capture a very "clean" work place.. Nice !!

Art! 'It came out-a-nowhere'. That's the feeling I got from walking through this shell of a house. I see 2x4s, plywood flooring and old wiring. You see light, angles, shadows. This is a perfect abstract example:) Well done.

Yes, light and angles indeed! Your signature beautiful touch to the ordinary...well done!

Interesting play of light and angles, Tara! Quite a symbiotic arrangement you have! I love it when a plan comes together! LOL!

Cool light and shadow effects in this shot. By demolition, I thought you meant employing such explosive devices such as dynamite, C4, nitroglycerine, ad infinitum.

It's fantastic to feel as if you're getting away with something. I often feel like that whenever I take sneak-factor shots of actual human beings. This shot has a nicely cinematic quality to it: I think it's the light and shadow combination and the warm and cool colors that go along with that. I really love that slanted panel--kinda like one of the monoliths from 2001: A Space Odyssey before getting a matte-black paint-job. Those studs are nice too, but then I've always enjoyed a good stud. This really rocks, and I love it when a photographer has fun photographing.

at lest you not picking up the door to bring to the dumpster

Light and shadow, the wood textures. Nicely composed scene. It all comes together to form an excellent image. I'm thinking about what Andrea commented. This would also look good with some filter post work.

Strange atmosphere those empty buildings.
