My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I hope this doesn't rotate - could leave quite a mess... Excellent capture.

'Face outside the window pane...' 1987 Pink Floyd of the same title. I like this! Clive

Yes it is very unusual looking and very interesting too :)

That is an expensive looking cabinet. Nice shot.

I resisted buying a smaller version of these shelves, even though they were reduced to a very low price, on the grounds of WHERE will I put it?! I like some of the oriental stuff on there too.

Lovely stand alright, love it!!

Very oriental, I recall my Mother having something very similar when we were small.I think it 'went' when we were big enough to 'reach' it and it's contents....sorry Mum. Thanks Tara, happy memories...

As my friend from Taiwan would say 'Very Chineszy'. I also like this type of display but have the same problem as Andrea. What would I do with it? Nice capture.

Great picture!!

Definitely a beautiful structure to show off the wonderful goodies within! I love the detail and the lighting you've captured it with is simply stunning! Such a warm, captivating glow that brightens up my day!

Now that is COOL! Both the round shelf thingie, and your photo of it! Love the light - it brings out the wonderful warm wood tones on this. And you;ve captured it so well! That would look really good filled with insulators, dontcha think? LOL!

Well, one thing for sure, that ain't Andrea's cupboard. Stellar clarity, color and composition in this one. Cubby holes all over the place, and has an Oriental flavor to it.

I really like this...it looks strangely like a really complex idiogram: an ancient one for tea or something like that. What a piece of display furniture: definitely not Ikea-Standard. The colors are great as well, as are the details and the vague, dreamy quality this has. Really fantastic! As I'm looking at this at Corey's place and listening to obnoxious music, we're both wishing you a Merry Christmas. This is a great shot. I like it a lot!

btw, I just left the longest answer for your skyline shot, and also, two of those feiningers were the same shot. I'm out of it. (Though my jokes were pretty damned funny, you gotta admit.) This is splendid. It looks oriental, and you caught the angles & lines very sweetly, as well as the light & softness; and the pots & ceramics, etc, are beautiful in their locations across the display. Really fine work, and your postwork makes it like a gentle dream. Very fine, tara. More fine seeing from you.

I like it to....great shot of it
