This alchemist has a potion all brewed up. Is it to inspire love, lust? Will it heal or kill? Whatever it will do, I'm sure it will do it well.
So, I saw Esmee the first day she went into the marketplace and bought her at that very moment I saw her. When I did my first test render, I just caught my breath. She was exquisite.. even undressed, unposed, sans hair, just an amazing texture. Even rendered low res without any settings turned up, simply beautiful, and her face is so delicate and refined!
Definitely this texture will be used quite a bit.
On this one, not too much postwork, a tiny bit right at her knee because V4 knees are slightly odd in the bend. I used a color overlay on the vial of potion and a few magical sparkles around it. Okay, I admit to being slightly addicted to magic sparkles.
Thank you for your favorites and wonderful comments on my last piece. I was glad that such an unconventional subject was accepted so well. :)

Lovely use of the Wizard's Place and awesome lighting to create a sumptuous set of richly lit props to background a strikingly beautiful model. I love the original framing of this piece, it forms a perfect bookend for the illustration. It is all in harmony to produce a uniquely beautiful image.

What a splendid alchemist-scene! Is that a bottle with Elixir of Youth in her hand? I'd say so, because I couldn't do the same pose myself, having besides such a relaxed and cool expression as the lady in your render, lol! This is just incredible, Delaney! Fantastic work with the lighting and everything else in this artwork! This is just over the top, my friend! And what a sales job.... I'm going over right now to get Esmee. Petra now owes you a commission... LOL! I'm not sure what she's got in that flask, but I'll take a couple bottles of it. If she brewed it up, it has to be good! And, before I forget - there's a technical term for those sparkles, thanks to our lovely Jenny (pixeluna) - those are called 'twinklemcallits' LOL!
