Well, I guess it's been awhile... I've missed all you guys and I imagine there have been a few changes since I was last here. This was taken along the (nearly frozen) Mississippi river near Quincy, Illinois Jan 5th. I hope you're all well and happy this new year and thanks for stoppin' by. Manning

What a great photo and great timing!! Bald eagles in the wild are just so majestic and regal. I have never been able to witness one catching a fish though...hope to see it sometime!

I done a double take to see for sure it said firesnuffer, LOL. It's been to long my friend but what a great post to re-emerge from obscurity with, beautiful color and focus what a awesome capture of this beautiful bird in action. Zooming in is a must!
