Description

They were growing old together ... Gerard was already sporting a crop of white hair, and with the blue-rinsed Celeste at his side, they made a formidable couple on the dancefloor. (BTW, Celeste's name means 'heavenly') One more time - for old times sake, because dancing was their passion and what could be better, than the desire to prove that you are never too old, to do the ~Tango l'amour~ ... Au Revoir *BB* PS my Agapanthus in bloom.

This is commitment to each other, and surrender. An incredible scene from these two Agapanthus flowers, dear friend.

First things first dear Brigitte. I hadn't seen the movie soooo after giving it a long painful watch I've come to one conclusion. Gerard and Celeste make a much more adorable couple than the couple played by Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider. And I'm certain that Gerard and Celeste have a better sense of rhythm too. I love your humorous take on this BB. Superb photo. :-)

A wonderful little story to go with this capture. Can you hear me chuckling???? I can just see them dancing in your garden. Mine are just starting to come out. I shall have to watch out for the dancing ones.

There is an ancient Japanese legend that tells a story of a husband and wife, Jo and Uba. Both lived to a very great age, dying at the same hour on the same day, and since then their spirits live in a very old pine tree with two trunks. So, you know, Gerard and Celeste, maybe? An absolutely gorgeous image. The black and grey background really sets off the colors. Just stunning!
