SUPER WONDERFUL CAPTURE

There's another on the floor at the foot of the garage that reads 'Told You So'. Another of those signs you'd think were pointless....til you find out how many people have needed it :-)

This is one super-cool shot. The sign (and the car and the jet) all inspire me to simply say: "Oh dear!" as I'm not certain if it's the car, or the jet going the wrong way...but suffice it to say at this particular airport, there is most definitely a RIGHT way and a WRONG way, and they have no problem letting you know it! This is really surreal too, because it also looks like the car already went the wrong way and is sinking in quicksand. THIS is such a great image. You have an incredible eye (two of them actually) and this is most definitely one of those "once in a lifetime" shots that will stick with anyone who has seen it. I'm glad you took it! It's very surreal and it actually has the look of a movie scene; it's got that kind of "grabbing" appeal that makes you wonder who has actually ever gone the wrong way and where they might be now! This is super! Oh, and do you remember those books in the late 80s and early 90s with "realistic" photographs as their front cover images. THIS is a perfect example of what they were always trying to go for, but only a few of them ever got it. This reminds me of one of those books, one written by some HOT author, and then eventually made into a movie, hopefully starring Pam Grier and Christpher Walken. It's that kind of an image! I love it!

Perfect timing on this! Perhaps the sign is for people like me who can't see through their new bi-focals? Does make you wonder what series of calamities transpired for them to need to make the sign so big? Did several hundred people drive off the top deck of the parking garage? Does make one wonder. Speaking of odd signs, the ones that boggle my mind are the ones warning you not to do things like put hot charcoal grills inside plastic sheds or not to eat the inedible persevative doo-higgy they put in some pill bottles. And don't get me started about getting stuck behind one of those Highway Dept. trucks that say DO NOT FOLLOW on the back. Great shot!

This sign made me think of people who's main tactic in debating is to raise their voice. Huge sign, but I'm not quite sure which way is wrong. I've seen some unusual signs (for me) lately in Ireland. One said "Traffic Calming". Another came AFTER a some switchback curves on an area of the road labeled (by a road sign) Corkscrew Hill, and said "dangerous curves ahead". This is a superb and perfectly timed capture. Very, very cool!
