Description

Last week I was drinking in this winter sunset in the outskirts of Padova , when a plane arrived almost ready to land. It looks I was beneath the route to Tessera, the area where Venice's Marco Polo Airport is. So, welcome to Venice, whoever you are! Thank you for your kind comments.

That's a beautiful shot. I recall back when I did a great deal of flying that, especially at night, I would see little towns all lit up far below and wonder about all the dramas and joys played out in those places. Well done.
