Description

The light in January is different. It is more bluish and not as red as the light in Autumn. Still it hasn't reached the clarity and strength of the April light. The picture was taken a week ago on a sunny Sunday afternoon. By the way: The subject is a mill in a hamlet twelve kilometer southeast of Gouda called Bonrepas. How very beautiful Onno! Such a clear sky... even though you say it hasn't reached its "maximum potential" just yet. There's something very soothing about this image... the stillness, and serenity perhaps. Beautiful calm waters, and the green grass right now is a great inspiration and gives me hope and anticipation of the beautiful spring that is to come.... hopefully sooner than later :) Wonderful depiction and scene!
