Wendy stood in her true form, but it wasn’t hers. She saw in this form, similarities to Mallgorleth, the Deep Dragon of Old Calladon and one of Maellasia’s lieutenants. The same head fans, the same shape of the snout, the same sinewy, snake-like body, much thinner than her blocky amethyst shape. And worse yet, her wings were gone as well. The Drow form was not particularly to her liking either, a sharp, edgy shape, looking many times weaker than she truly was. It was a deceptive form, created for deception, and didn’t fit her self-image or her moral code. And then there was the loss of her fluxrift. The very sign, the symbol of the Kar’Thane would be a dead give away to any and all from the UnderDark that she simply did not belong. Thus, she’d reluctantly handed the weapon over to the Temple of Bahamut with the understanding that it remain securely locked away until her return. In its place, she now wielded a strange shaped abomination of jagged metal, an astral steel blade of Githyanki design. Strangely enough, for all its bulk, it was as light in her hands as the fluxrift.

She was to be Gwenpira Noqaret, a psi-warrior trained at Illthin-choralka, but instead of finishing her schooling and apprenticing to kill the Drovik, this one headed out on her own. Her ability to swim through stone like a Xorn might have had something to do with her escape from Skullport as Illthin-choralka and its Shadow masters were falling to the SGL. She’d be easily identified as a half-dragon if no other reason than they rarely wore boots,… too easy to tear to shreds when they shapeshifted to their true forms.
