Description

Came back from a meeting in San Francisco yesterday with fellow Rendo denizens. Just south of Oakland I was delayed by a horrible accident between a sedan and an SUV. There were two ambulances, a fire engine and several police cruisers at the scene. The front of the SUV was demolished. There was a smiley face on the cover of it's rear mounted spare tire. It rained most of the way. As I approached home the rain stopped and this brilliant rainbow appeared. Hurtling down the highway at seventy miles per hour and steering with one hand I yanked my camera out of its bag, rolled down the window and fired off several shots. I hope you appreciate the fact that I risked my life to capture this image. Oh, and the pot of gold? My own bed and a long restful sleep.
