Description
I dedicate this image to Mark as well as those in distress here in Rendo, to make them smile a bit. I took this shot somewhere in Canada in 2006, from a bridge or other higher position. I was observing the geese when I noticed their peculiar catty-cornered way of drifting with the current of the river, so I froze them.

What a shot! What a dedicaton too. I love the water; it has a slightly metallic, slightly pearlescent look to it, and the geese are perfect. I love the diagonal they form, demonstrating that odd mathematical puzzle of things forming a straight line when they're arranged catty-cornered (in Chicago, we also say kitty-corner) which makes me wonder what the term might be in other regions. This is such a cool shot and a perfect dedication.
