Description

From the backyard bird watch, this little Goldfinch other wise known as the wild canary due to there bright yellow summer plumage was heading for the seed that I had just thrown on the ground. Making sure he got his fare share, at this time of the year it’s not an exaggeration to say I’ll have 20+ of these beautiful song birds on my feeders as well as foraging on the ground at the same time. It’s a good thing they are a social bird and share the feeders with all the other birds. The weatherman here is saying we’re going to get another 6 to 8 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow, I hope there wrong but should they have nailed this forecast the birds will be hungry in the morning. Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you care to leave! Thanks for the favs on my last post; I do appreciate all the support!

I read on the net that researchers are arguing about if bird's fingers came from the thumb, index to the second finger or if it is 2-3-4 from maniraptors. I wonder if they give each other the "bird" when the argument gets testy excellent shot Royce
