Description

This is one of the many hallways at the Detroit airport with the difference that this one is beautifully lit. It changes colors all the time but I liked this combination best! You do have to walk clear across the state of Michigan to get to baggage claim - I guess you can just as well enjoy the 'scenery'. Snapped on my recent trip to North America! Thank you for popping in and for your welcome comments and favs on my last upload "Mandy - for Bill and Tara". Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

Very beautiful! But the walk you mention is why I have flown only once..I was so exhausted by it that I wasn't able to go out in the evenings when we got to Florence!

Wow, that is really neat! At least you can feel semi-cheerful as you hoof it to baggage claim ;) I like your composition on this too. Nice work~

I like the softness, gives great atmosphere and movement. Far more so full size! Sadly home affairs took 3 weeks not to tell me that my passport photos for my passport are 'not right'. Puts a dent in my travel plans for next month. Clive

Our airports dont look like this in the UK - they are dull and boring. This one looks superb! Fantastic capture and colours Carin!

This is quite amazing. Detroit? I didn't expect that but in all honesty, I'm not quite sure what I expect of Detroit, aside from a displaced Frenchman...long story there. Anyway...what a shot! I love the colors and the whole futuristic vibe. The people add a nice touch as well, especially since they're mostly silhouette. This is brilliant!

WOW - this really hits the eyes, but in a good way ...colour is what can make or break a picture, my guess you waited for the right moment to catch these ones. Of course there is nothing ever wrong with black & white, but this photo can have an everlasting effect on the mind. BB

Absolutely gorgeous capture of this massive place; airports always seem so unnecessarily big and poorly laid out...and why is it that the next place you need to be is always on the other side of the place? The changing colour scheme is a great idea to make it more friendly!

Stellar color and postwork effects in this shot of what is probably the nicest part of Detroit, Carin, a city on the verge of extinction. I really like the POV and perspective shown in this one. Hope you're over your jet lag.

At least you can walk there, at Sydney airport you have to catch a damned bus if you are going from national to international. They are on the right track too, light it up and make it a pleasant walk

Hey! I had to go here! Took pictures as well.. lol And yes! IT IS a spread out place isn't it.. lol But, they make it pleasant with this sort of thing and the dancing fountains, and the monorail! Cool! Its indoors! Great shot, right, I'll do the dancing fountains then.... lol ;-) Glad you had fun... I had to wait here 7 hours for a flight to England! Rob
