Description

This image consists of seven of my own photographs, a lot of fiddling in CS3, and nothing else. This was such fun to make! I'd tell you a story about it, but it's always so much more fun to hear what story YOU see! :)

Makes me think of the song by Kansas, 'Point of No Return' and also the Song by Grand Funk Railroad, 'I'm your Captain.' Cool work, Tara

OBVIOUSLY, this is Odysseus sailing to the island of the witch Circe, the implacable temptress, that can be seen skulking atop the cove of the cyclops, top right of your picture. Now, what did I win?

Well, you did a great job. I see a miniature scene maybe a diorama. Looks so calm but danger everywhere. Time to turn back, the step will chalenge your ability to stay top of the game.

You did a fantastic job and created a lovely scene. My mind is too tired tonight to come up with a story.

The steps to a dreamland, met at the bottom by a yacht and floating off wherever. Beware though, there are nightmares which lurk too... Clive

There's a little boy at the edge of that creek who just put this boat in the water. He's spent months and months working on and he's telling whoever will listen "Look, Look, it's sailing!!!!" What a wonderful piece of work!!

Just brilliant! As soon as I opened the image I had this sense of foreboding about those steps: very clever of you to have them in the shade. If I look at this long enough my other brain will come up with a great story and reveal all once I get to sleep tonight. The only problem will be remembering it to tell you! I was woken suddenly by Ralph this morning and remembered my most recent dream, which involved someone throwing a greyhound and a cow from the roof of a high local building while the towel I had round me kept slipping down embarrasingly and need tightening so I couldn't apprehend them. This was probably all to do with Spanish nuns and their nasty habits. I have to be careful what I watch.

I see a swimming pool with lots of wizened tortoises trying desperately to get out after tiring of playing with a discarded model boat. But if this is not the case then its a great piece of work anyway.

OH MYY !! What a fantastic result of your Photo braiding, Tara :-) Wonderful to see you to this :-) After sailing 3 months. After the great storm, that damaged the boat so much, that they had to repair it, in the middle of the ocean, to be able to go on, they finally could se land. Another 8 hours and they began to wonder what an island they arrived to. Rocks and rocks. Nothing but rocks, so they sailed along the island in the hope to find shore. Carfully not to hit an underwater rock and after a few hours, they saw a cave. After an hours discussions, they agreed to try to go through this entrance to the cave. They were hungry, tired of the long trip and now they hoped to find a place on land to rest. Twenty rowers where working and in front of the boat was hanging a Huge oil lantern to give a bit of light in the dark cave. The Solder master had a hard work measureing the depth in front of the boat. It was quiet. Only the echo of the water splashing against the rocks and the oars soft creaking were breaking the silence. Suddently the soldermaster said. Can you feel a breeze?? I can feel it. No no, careful, dont rush. We can still bump into a rock. It was difficult not to put more force into the oars, in spite of their fatigue and eventualy, there was a light. They were finally through the cave. A mumle was spreading among the people. Yes, they didnt know what they would see. And then they were out. It took som time to realize what they saw. A wonderful and peaceful place with gigantic trees. Some dried out, others alive and full of leaves so green. trees with fruit, trees with flowers. Water lilies and lovely sculptures and the wonderful sound of birds singing of joy. Some of the people began to snuffle. Their journey was over and here was food. LOL !Sorry my bad english. :)

I see an artist quietly working. One image plus another and another. A layer mask here a layer mask there. Duplicate a layer and flip it upside down. Burn tool, eraser, sharpen, saturation, levels and curves...big smile, sense of accomplishment. And all of this was during just the first hour. I see care and wonder. I see interest and imagination. I see fun. And now I am asking, could I do one of these with all those unused photo images in my files? Could I experiment with all my rarely used Photoshop tools to come up with something of fancy and fantasy? Great job tk...and now I am watching...watching for the stories of others to unfold using your imagery as a muse. There's already a couple of good ones above. LOL @ Andrea's most recent dream!
