Description

Have you ever wondered why I stay out in the stix? Hint: Lions roaring, jackal calling and wind, rain and fire combined in the breeze.

Are you young enough to know this song I am listening to? "Sound of pulling heaven down" by Blue October:

You make the sound of pulling heaven down
You brought the rain's romantic pour
You make the sound
You make the sound
Of pulling heaven down

For those of you who wondered if I cheated... YES! I did, I used a lightning trigger and then made the 5 photo composite.

You have some serious lightning there! This is an amazing photo. I guess I'm not young enough because I'm not familiar with the song or group.

What can I say that will do justice to this stunner? Not much. Like I said to someone the other day - you call it cheat and I call it skill! Fantastic work Piet... really amazing. As for the song - Hmmm - of course I know it. The one that always jumps to my mind in thunder and rain is an equally old song by Bruce Millar called Children of the Rain. I will rather not quote the specific lines in that song that I really like! :):)

Cheated or not, this is a great image Piet - with the work that I do I have realised that it doesn't matter how you get to your end result - as long as you get there! Fantastic stuff my friend!

Outstanding image! I love the result you got. Cheating? Nope ... you have used your creativity and available technology to make a beautiful photographic image. If that's cheating, where's the line between cheating and legitimate art? Ha! When you have an answer for me, just let me know. :P I'd never heard the song you referenced. I like it very much! Perhaps it's because you are SOooooo much older than me, Oom. :P
