Sir Orlagnor of Dragomyr was a knight of old Carellon, a warrior unmatched in tournament, and a raving psychotic. He eventually swore his service to Shang as the dark lord was gathering power and he saw Shang’s star rising to control all of the west. He was wrong on many levels. Shang didn’t care for his service as a knight, but his hatred and murderous streak were useful as components in creating a Death Knight. Shang had him killed through intermediaries and claimed the soul to pour it into a skeletal warrior forged into a set of plate armor. The result was an undead horror which went on to be one of Shang’s greatest killing machines. Orlagnor was defeated time after time by assorted priests, holy warriors, and knights, but never destroyed, for his soul was trapped elsewhere, in a secret location none would ever suspect, the very graveyards of Damia.

When Aura set out on her quest to fulfill her destiny, she sought him out first, a bodyguard and chief warrior of her cause. Her promise to Orlagnor, to give him eternal life removed from the curse of undeath as one of the Lords of Hell.
