Description

I could not identify this plant. It is probably Agave or Aloe. The water had filled up the center and this is what I found. A little temple surrounded by water and greenery. UPDATE: It turns out Google has nothing on Renderosity. Just throw out a question or a challenge and someone in this community is going to come back with an answer. Thanks to Andrea (durleybeachbum), Brigitte (blondeblurr) and Morningglory for identifying this as a Bromeliad. It’s a Neoregelia bromeliad also known as a purple bromeliad and can be found in Hawaii.

It certainly is a Bromeliad ... I've got lot's of them in my little rainforest, it's a striking succulent with very sharp spikes running along the edge of the leaves. vibrant colours and stunning result, Mark BB
