Description

Superstructure for the boat hoist at the Edmonds Marina. Although we didn't know it at the time, I was taking pictures of this bit and Bill was taking pictures of its reflection. I'll show you another picture later that will explain what this is and what it does. To see the reflection, check out ...and Below in Bill's gallery.

Cool capture - what is something is that I got yours and Bill's ebots in sequence so I'm looking at yours first and Bill's will be right after it.

Nice work :) It is cool to see the 'same thing' from a different perspective and how 2 people see it differently.

Bill's already stealing your ideas is he! Nah, thanks for posting this. I have been around a heap of these but have never taken such a good look as when I looked at your photo! I love the colour too which I'm guessing is late in the day?

OH! So THAT's what it is! Bill's photo had me wondering why a pier would have such a narrow cat walk on the top side. This explains everything! It seems to be a double construction, one hoist on each side. Keep up the good work. Between the two of you, this is becoming a fun guessing game, quite apart from very fine photography! :-)

A fine photo...yes, we do see things from different angles all the time! This makes taking photos with somebody else a real exciting pastime. Lots of fabulous experiences await us over the next year! Looking forward to hitting the road together sometime in April:)

Really neat idea and composition. I like how the both of you captured this subject from different perspectives. A most interesting structure and capture. Really beautiful and professional quality presentation and composition, from both views!

Interesting the things you never really notice as you walk around.. See, you'd never normally notice this, looking at the polished boat instead.. Good idea and shot.. Rob

Great shot Tara and great team work. Bill's shot of the reflection nicely compliments your capture. What about those curves? I didn't know those thoughts were going through your head. I was taking it easy, especially when that cop followed us for about 20 miles with his radar on, lol!!!
