Description
Swan Lake (For Rodolfo Ciminelli) This dedication is for Rodolfo (Rodolfo Ciminelli), a very dear friend of mine. We have been friends for a long time, and he is one of the kindest and most caring artists in the gallery. Rodolfo uses the (Poser program) to create amazing works of art. He produces many dedications for his friends, and his art is beautiful, and inspiring. Please take time to visit his gallery, it is a true treasure. Rodolfo shared several stories with me about living in Argentina, and this one seemed so adorable. Hope my friends enjoy his story as much as I did. God bless my friends who are sick and in pain.
The year was 1957 in the city of General Jose San Martin, in Argentina where our story begins. Rodolfo was 9 years old and spent most of his time with his friend Yolanda and her family. This day Yolanda had a special surprise for everyone, because she had been taking ballet lessons and wanted to show what she had learned. Yolanda had a older sister Teresa that assisted them. Teresa and her Mom Giordana found an old wooden crate, and moved it to the back yard. Rodolfo helped her family bring their cats and dogs, to provide her with many admirers. Yolanda dressed in her tutu, and came outside to greet her fans. There was no beautiful music, no fancy lighting, but she had the most important thing of all. The love and support of her family and her best friend Rodolfo. So on that small stage in their back yard, Yolanda gave the performance of her life, and recieved lots of applause. Rodolfo has loved this memory all of these years, because sometimes it is the simple things in life that are the best.

Wow...great story and image! OMGosh...some days I wish I could "go back" to my childhood...when times were happier and my family was whole. Then I remember how chubby I was and say, "Nah..." I would like my family back though. :-) Again, GREAT image!!!

Lovely picture and narrative. One of the things I've missed most about my lengthy absence from Renderosity has been your artwork. It used to always bring a smile to my face, and I am glad to see it still works its charm. Thank you so much for sharing these with us.

I can't believe that I haven't commented earlier on your latest artwork, Dave, especially as it's already more than two months old! Real life disturbs us so often from the things we'd love to do most, but I gues that's normal. Please keep up your great work Dave and LOTS OF HUGS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Sassy~

Hi Dave! Its been so long since I was here but always the same feeling when I view your work, soft and wonderful memories flood my mind and I always feel a deep connection to your work. I love the story, reminds me of when my kids put on 'plays' for me. Thats the truly marvelous thing about your work, you always touch the reader, always draw us in to bring memories of our own to the surface. Its a grand thing that you do. The image is perfect as always and I hope you are still working on your book! Thank you and your friend for sharing this one! And thank you for your continued support of my work even when I am gone for so long! Big hugs!!!
