Description

Another photo retrieved from the archives. The wreck of the Romelia lay off the rocks of Llandudno, Cape Town, for many years before it broke up and sank beneath the waves... The shot was taken when I first moved to Cape Town in the early 1980s. I made no adjustments to the colours, but did add some filters to give it a more painterly feel. I must apologise for my absence in the galleries - I've been extremely busy in the past few months, but I do have a short break coming up soon when I hope to do some serious catching up... Pentax, Agfa film, post-work in Photoshop CS5. Craig

I thought I recognised this ship! My first visit to the Cape was 1981 and the wreck of the Romelia was a landmark then. A very photographic site at sunset! Clive
